- Ghetto Youthプロダクションと契約したMotownのファーストアルバム、Bob Marleyのもっとも若い息子であるDimian Marleyのアルバムがリリース。Bob Marleyと1977年ミスジャマイカであるCindy Breakspeareの間に1978年に生まれたDimian Marleyは早くからそのミュージックキャリアをスタート、始めてのバンドは"the Shepherds"でこのメンバーが豪華、Third WorldのCat Cooreの息子Shiah Coore、そしてFreddie McgregoryとJudy Mowattの娘"yashma Beth"等から構成され、1992年のReggae Sunsplashにも出演している。その後ハイスクール時代にソロアルバム"mr.marley"をリリースし、ハワイで大ヒットになったらしい。このアルバムはセカンドアルバムにあたるが、記念すべきMotownメジャーリリースであり、Bunny Wailers、Bounty Killer、Capleton等豪華ゲストが満載。オンエアー等可能なHip Hop、R＆bと巧みにクロスオーバーさせながらルーツ＆カルチャーを感じさせる、インターナショナルな仕上がり。先にシングルカットされた"still Searcin"はすでにUsラジオ曲ローテイション中！
