レゲエパイオニアシンガー・プロデューサーの一人に数えらられるWinston Jarrettのコンパイルアルバムが、カリホルニアベースのインディレーベルYoung Treeからリリース！winston Jarrettは６０年代スカの時代から活躍するアーティストであり、あのAlton EllisのバックグループThe Flamesのメンバー、そして、The Righteous Flamesの創設者として知られれる。このアルバムは、１９６９年から１９７９年、ルーツハードコアの時代のヒット曲、未発表、Ｃｄ可初のテイクを計３６曲Ｃｄ2枚組みに収録した、ヘビーサウンドマニア必聴のタイトルだろう。プロデュースはWindon Jarrett、録音はStudio One、そしてChannel One等など。Bob Marley-satisfy My Soulのカバーテイクも収録。推薦！
